I’m a born and raised New Orleanian, I did all my training here at LSU, University Medical Center, and Ochsner—as such, I know of the different treatment options available in the city for whatever you might be struggling with. I’m passionate about mental health. Through my own experiences and experiences of loved ones, I’ve seen how mental health struggles take such a great toll on patients and families. I want to help you understand why you are the way you are; why you reflexively think the way you do—how your unique upbringing and experiences have shaped your unique strengths and flaws. We’ll come up with a plan to make your life better for you and your loved ones… or your dog…. or cat… or bearded dragon… Maybe that treatment plan will involve medications, maybe it will be more therapy focused. Most tend to benefit from a combination of therapy and careful medication prescribing—while also addressing general ways to help you feel more connected in your everyday life. HopefulIy we can talk about some fun stuff too. I have many interests and hobbies and would love to hear about yours (or the Netflix show you’re watching!). I love the saints, pelicans, writing songs; playing piano, guitar, golf, tennis, and basketball; being with family and friends; and being in nature. I feel confident that we can come up with a well-rounded, individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals and improve your wellness. Due to this unique approach and individualized care, I do not accept insurance though your medications (if part of the your treatment) will be covered by insurance.
